President Rodrigo Duterte met on Thursday afternoon Hollywood action star Steven Seagal in Malacañang.
Seagal, who flew into the Philippines to look for a location for his new movie, was accompanied by former Ilocos Sur Gov. Luis “Chavit” Singson.
Seagal’s new movie is about illegal drugs and other crimes, a Malacañang press release said.
It said Duterte told Seagal “that movies are a reflection of life” as the President reiterated “his strong stance against illegal drugs because these enslave people to a form of synthetic chemical.”
