Edgardo S. Tugade
You can wear my new poem like a new shirt.
Put your thoughts in first, then your handiwork.
Spread your love and hate, your hunger and mirth,
And then the roles of the parts in the fork
Of your limbs. You may choose another art
Or another rhyme to match my weaving
And go. I’m off to make another start
At receiving more blessings and giving.
