Lakbay Museo: A revival of Filipino culture and tradition

PHILIPPINE attractions, regional livelihood, culinary experiences and colorful festivals have converged at the newly opened Lakbay Museo at S Maison in Conrad Manila.

A project of the Millennial Concept Factory Inc., Lakbay Museo highlights the revival of Filipino culture and tradition as part of the group’s advocacy to encourage and educate Filipinos to experience and preserve the heritage.

It is the perfect place for guests to delve into the roots of Filipino identity. The museum aims to nurture patriotism in the next generation, including guidance for foreigners as it champions learning about the Philippines and its people in a fun and easy way.

Lakbay Museo presents all regions of the Philippines with interactive landmark destinations perfect for photo ops like the Tondo streets, Calle Crisologo, and the Banaue Rice Terraces. Famous festivals have also made their way to the museum through dances and displayed costumes.

Present at the opening were personalities who shared the same advocacies in education about the Filipino heritage, such as Pasay City Mayor Imelda “Emi” Calixto-Rubiano, Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Ramon Lopez, ABS-CBN’s Charo Santos and Susan Bautista as well as leaders from Sorsogon among others.
