FDCP holds ‘A Curation of World Cinema’ in Cinematheque Centres, Cinema ‘76

It will feature reruns of films such as Scottish filmmaker Charlotte Wells’ Aftersun and French filmmaker Justine Triet’s Anatomy of a Fall for P200, while French screenwriter and director Leonor Serrailles’ Mother and Son will be screened at Cinema ‘76 for an admission fee that is worth P250.

The Cinematheque Centres will also have free screenings of Polish filmmaker Krzysztof Kieślowski’s trilogy Three Colors: BlueThree Colors: Red, and Three Colors White.

The film curation was also screened last April 2024, which also featured other films such as Molly Manning Walker’s How to Have Sex, Wei Shujun’s Only the River Flows, and the restored versions of Wong Kar Wai’s In the Mood for LoveHappy TogetherChungking Express, and Fallen Angels.

FDCP’s “A Curation of World Cinema” will run from Aug. 22 to 31 at the Cinematheque Centres and from Aug. 21 to 27 at Cinema ‘76. — Abigail Adriatico
