Filipino boy group BGYO has been nominated for the BreakTudo Awards in Brazil for Music by New International Artist with their single “Patintero.”
As the group continues to make waves internationally, BGYO is also set to launch a new vlog series, BGYO CANtakeUS, to give fans an exclusive look at the boy band’s North American tour. The vlog series premiered on BGYO’s official YouTube channel last night. New episodes will be released every Friday.
The vlog series showcases the boy group’s travels across the US and Canada, including performances at events such as ASAP live in California, MYX Presents @ 626 Night Market in Arcadia, Pistahan Parade in San Francisco, Wish Bus USA, Fiesta Filipino in Calgary, and Fun Philippines in Toronto.
BGYO’s international presence is further cemented by its collaboration with Grammy winners Lostboy and Tele on their latest single “Trash,” which has garnered half a million views on YouTube and 350,000 streams on Spotify.
The group’s fresh sound has earned them spots on several Spotify editorial playlists, including “It’s a Hit!,” “P-pop On The Rise,” and “we SEA you.”
