BINI leader Jhoanna Robles reprises role as Eds in upcoming ‘Tabing Ilog’ musical rerun

P-pop girl group BINI’s leader Jhoanna Robles is set to reprise her role as Eds in the upcoming rerun of the musical Tabing Ilog, based on the TV series of the same name that aired in 1999.

Tabing Ilog The Musical follows the story of a group of friends who face the various challenges that come with adolescence. The musical was supposed to run in 2020, but due to the onset of the pandemic, the production was delayed until 2023. Along with Robles, Vivoree Esclito and Sheena Belarmino will also reprise the character of Eds as alternatives.

The upcoming rerun will also feature Akira Morishita and Benedix Ramos as Rovic, Anji Salvacion and Miah Canton as Corrinne, Kobie Brown and Jordan Andrews as James, Vino Mabalot as Fonzy, Kiara Takahashi and Andi Abaya as George, and Jude Hinumdum as Badong.

Other cast members include Omar Uddin and Adrian Lindayag as Andoy, Joann Co as Lola Juling, Red Nuestro as Panyong, Gimbey Dela Cruz and Yeyin Dela Cruz as Azon, Lance Reblando as Meow, Vyen Villanueva as Toots, and Teetin Villanueva as Anchang.
