Gordon Ramsay in Cubao wet market, tries ‘paluto’

A day after his big event at Newport World Resorts, Michelin-starred chef Gordon Ramsay was spotted at a local wet market.

On Tuesday, January 21, Araneta City shared photos and videos of Ramsay inside Farmers Market, the iconic wet market in Cubao, Quezon City, across its social media platforms.

Ramsay was seen checking out fresh seafood and later dining at Dampa, a popular dining option where customers can choose seafood from the market and have it cooked, or in Filipino, “paluto.”

In a separate Instagram post, award-winning Filipino chef Margarita Fores shared a photo of her interaction with Ramsay.

It was unclear if the visit was for one of his shows or an upcoming special, as Ramsay was also spotted going around with a video crew.

Besides the Philippines, Ramsay also announced earlier that he will visit a neighboring Asian country, Thailand, after the Philippines.
