Nicolas Lewis, the former chair and CEO of TLC Beatrice International, shared her journey of resilience and perseverance, emphasizing the role of education and empowerment in breaking societal barriers. Her impressive accomplishments include being the first Filipina and Asian woman to pass the New York bar without studying law in the United States, as well as becoming the first Filipina and Asian woman CEO to lead a billion-dollar company in the US Beyond her business success, she is a strong advocate for good governance and Filipino representation worldwide.

The event, attended by prominent personalities such as Makati Mayor Abby Binay, Malaysian Ambassador Dato Abdul Malik Melvin Castelino, Department of Justice Undersecretary Margarita Gutierrez, and Sen.
