Other awardees included yours truly — I was lucky to have shared the stage with Loida, along with Tessa Prieto and Anna Magkawas, all of whom have demonstrated exceptional leadership, influence, and dedication in their respective fields.

Nicolas Lewis, the former chair and CEO of TLC Beatrice International, shared her journey of resilience and perseverance, emphasizing the role of education and empowerment in breaking societal barriers. Her impressive accomplishments include being the first Filipina and Asian woman to pass the New York bar without studying law in the United States, as well as becoming the first Filipina and Asian woman CEO to lead a billion-dollar company in the US Beyond her business success, she is a strong advocate for good governance and Filipino representation worldwide.
