applications. Here we are, a year later, and I am writing about the same

The excitement of Men’s and Women’s Hockey games during this Vancouver
Winter Olympics has kept us mesmerized and glued to our television sets
the past days.
Frankly I’m not a hockey fan but with the recent Olympic hockey games, i
sort of had a crash course on the rudiments of the game. I learned that
the goalie ( for soccer) is called a Goal Tender in hockey.

We all hope that applicants to Canada are healthy and free of any
ailment or disease. However, applicants (and their dependants) are often
faced with medical issues that may render them inadmissible to Canada.
The question therefore is what constitutes medical inadmissibility? What
kind of medical condition will result in a refusal of the application
for an applicant and their dependants? Further, if one is indeed found
to be medically inadmissible how does one appeal the medical decision in
order to overturn the negative decision?

get-togethers. There will be the expected speeches: recitation of
accomplishments if he or she is part of the administration or serious
criticism if visitor is a member of the opposition. From
Filipino-Canadians, there will be concerns about the economy, the
corruption and scandals, the poverty.

Ngayong Fathers' Day, balikan natin ang istorya ng isang amang nangibang bansa at sabik na hinintay ng kanyang anak.

1980 ako ipinanganak. Tatlong taon bago pinatay si Ninoy Aquino at anim
na taon bago ang EDSA uprising. Taon ding ito nang nagkaroon ng
malaking krisis sa langis ang buong mundo. P24.00 ang palitan ng dolyar
sa piso at 48 milyon na ang populasyon ng Pilipinas. Ito rin ang taong
unang pumunta ng Middle East ang tatay ko para magtrabaho.
