A hotel for adventurers

July 19, 2019

Whereas most hotels offer relaxation and recreation, Le Charmes Suites in Subic Bay Freeport Zone chooses to offer adrenaline-pumping activities perfect for active vacationers.

This hotel maintains that it is not made for staycations, rather, it combines business, leisure and sports amenities for a unique stay.

Le Charmes Suites is more than a destination for staycations.

For one, it has the unique bike racks in front of the room and along the hallways-for the active professionals, a feature not many hotels can boast. Furthermore, its lobby and elevators are designed to accommodate guests with bikes and other large baggage and recreational equipment.

“Most of the corporate crowd now is into active lifestyle. Everyone is doing the swimming pool and I saw a niche on the biking sport and that’s what we provide here at Le Charme. Our rooms are big enough for your bike and other sports equipment,” says Josephine Floresca, founder and managing director of Le Charmes Suites.

The hotel even has its own fitness coach to guide guests who wish to bike around the area or ride a stationary bike on the rooftop beside its four-feet pool.

A unique feature of the hotel is its four-storey rock climbing wall.

More unique features of Le Charmes Suite include its own four-storey rock climbing wall and its virtual reality gaming room called The Cube.

The thrill does not end within the Le Charmes Suite’s perimeter; A good selling point is its proximity to mountains and seas that open a different set of adventures altogether.

It is 30 minutes to an hour away from the Zoobic Safari where visitors can have a close encounter with the tigers, crocodiles, and other animals. For those who want to rather have a quick dip in the beach, there’s the inviting sands and waves of Camayan Resort. The nearby Subic staple, Ocean Adventure, meanwhile, is perfect for people who want to have a unique encounter with the dolphins.

Now, for adventure-seekers who find joy in trekking, there’s the Pamulaklakin Trail. While at it, they can meet the famous Tata Kasoy who has been offering survival skills complete with survival tools made of bamboo to every visitor. The trail, true to its name Pamulaklakin, is blooming with nature’s bounty such century-old trees.

Guests can sweat it out on a stationary bike on the rooftop beside the four-feet pool.

After all the adventures, guest can eat their heart out back in the hotel. Le Charmes Suite offers sumptuous delicacies at the in-house Mi Tapas or Asian-fusion dishes at Teppan 101.

For a complete experience of adventure and leisure, guests can cap off their day with relaxing treatments at its Tai Chi Spa. Among the signature services are the Taichi Foot Reflexology, the traditional Hilot, Chinese Dry Massage, and Sports Massage. It also offers Swedish Massage, Shiatsu Massage, Combination Massage, and Body and Foot Massage. To finish off, there’s the jacuzzi or sauna ready for use.

Le Charme Suite is located at 1131 Palm St., Subic Bay Freeport Xone, Olongapo.
