A whole new way to experience the world’s favorite toys from the fourth and final installment of Disney’s “Toy Story” can still be had weeks after the blockbuster animation charmed audiences everywhere at Harbour City Hong Kong.
On view until August 4, a Toy Story-themed carnival with different games and challenges transports visitors to Harbour City to a land of fun and awe.
Figures of Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Slinky Dog welcome guests at the seven-meter-tall giant arch entrance at Ocean Terminal Forecourt. Other characters like Bo Peep, Duke Caboom, Jessie, and the Aliens are also at the balloon ticket booth, roller coaster, and merry-go-round for snapshots.
Game tokens can be used at different games and challenges as well, including Forky: Get Me Outta Here, Gabby Gabby: I Love You, Potato Heads: Fix Me Please and Aliens: Oooohh the Chosen Ones.
The carnival continues at the Ocean Terminal Deck, with three installations and two exciting games against the backdrop of the spectacular Victoria Harbour. Pose and snap a few photos with the six-meter tall Buzz Lightyear Ferris Wheel and Summer Road Trip Camping Van.
While the “Toy Story” friends all gather at Harbour City, their new owner Bonnie cannot be missed. So Harbour City welcomes everyone named Bonnie from around the world to the carnival party by simply presenting a passport, official ID, or any proof showing that one’s name is Bonnie to redeem a set of tokens for free to enjoy the carnival games!
In addition to the carnival, fans can experience other fun, immersive activities throughout the mall including The Art of Toy Story 4 exhibit, kids’ workshops, an interactive digital game, a Toy Doctor consultation, and a Toy Story pop-up store.
Until September 1, visitors can also enjoy Hong Kong Disneyland’s Toy Story & Pixar Pals Summer Splash, where beloved Toy Story friends and other Pixar pals are around to party with fans of the films!
Harbour City is known as home to a wide array of unique and exclusive finds, from fashion and beauty to art and special interest stores. It is working also with The Salvation Army to collect pre-loved toys to share with those in need, giving old toys a new home and allowing more kids to create happy memories of their own.
