Music’s teen stars and their ‘Feels’

September 12, 2019

Today’s teenage generation is definitely more vocal and expressive with what they go through or what’s on their minds. Whether it be a kilig moment with crush, heartbreak, a recognition in school or a cause they strongly support, “TeenGen” today can actually teach the rest of the world a thing or two about honesty and just letting it all out.

It is this “no holds barred” attitude of the young generation that inspired the theme of Coke Studio’s third season dubbed “MyFeels.” Launched at the Coke Studio Music Festival on August 23 at Circuit Makati, MyFeels gathered the brightest teen stars of OPM to express what makes their generation tick through music.

A grand concert hosted by Ylona Garcia and Justin Quirino, the show was headlined by Coke Studio Season 3 artists who welcomed the rainy season with stream of feelings ranging from love, freedom, independence and moving forward. Seen @ the Scene were Iñigo Pascual, Ron Henley, Al James, Lola Amour, This Band and pop royalty Sarah Geronimo, while Janine Teñoso, Clara Benin, Bea Lorenzo, Silent Sanctuary, Brisom, St. Wolf, Just Hush, UDD, and Morissettee also had their moment in the spotlight.

The TeenGen-ers were all the more stoked when Coke Studio Seasons 1 and 2 alums Ben & Ben, December Avenue and IV of Spades surprised them on stage.

This celebration of youth and music continues every Saturday via the TV version of MyFeels on ABS-CBN starting September 14 at 10 a.m.
