Philippine festivities are always brighter with top showbiz stars

THE most recent bevy of Philippine festivities were filled with fun and excitement with some of the country’s most sought-after stars travelling to various cities and provinces across the islands.

In Davao, the festive fever of Kadayawan Festival was highlighted by Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards who, together with his “The Gift” co-stars Mikee Quintos, Thia Thomalla, Ysabel Ortega and Martin del Rosario joined the Dabawenyos in celebrating one of the Philippines’ biggest festivals.

The celebrities also graced the Pamulak Kadayawan Float Parade of the province.

Meanwhile, Jason Abalos, Mark Herras, Gabby Concepcion, Derek Ramsay and Andrea Torres touched based with Dabawenyos in their mall show at The Annex Event Center, SM City Davao.

But that’s not all, GMA Regional TV brought also brought popular love team Rita Daniela and Ken Chan to attend both the Higalaay Festival in Cagayan de Oro City — with Gabbi Garcia — and joined the fun in Tuna Festival of General Santos City, considered as the “Tuna Capital” of the Philippines.

From Tuna Capital to Bangus Captial, stars Rayver Cruz, Kim Domingo, and Kris Bernal visited Pangasinenses, the people of Pangasinan. And so did Aiko Melendez, Katrina Halili, Wendell Ramos, Sofia Pablo, Jillian Ward and Althea Ablan.

Finally, leading men Pancho Magno and Benjamin Alves amused the dwellers of Legazpi, Albay, the home of the world-famous Mayon Volcano.
