BAGUIO CITY — The City of San Fernando City, La Union Province is placed under Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) until the end of July, 2020 following the surge of coronavirus cases.
The City, on 20 July, recorded eight new cases of COVID-19, bringing to 20 the total number of cases in the city.
San Fernando City Mayor Alfredo Pablo R. Ortega issued an executive order setting the guidelines for the ECQ implementation.
Strict home quarantine shall be observed. Public transportation is also suspended until July 31 but commissioned shuttle services for employees of permitted establishments and offices are allowed.
Number coding has also been suspended in the city.
