Cascolan orders probe on Parojinog’s death

Philippine National Police Chief General Camilo Cascolan on Friday ordered the investigation on death of Ardot Parojinog.

Parojinog was found dead at 6:00am today while alone inside the detention cell of Ozamis Police Station. No violence was noted.

He was supposed to attend a hearing in Ozamis City Court today and that his travel was covered by a court order.

Cascolan directed PRO10 director PBGen Rolando Anduyan to immediately place the Ozamis Police chief and all night shift duty personnel under restrictive custody to be available for investigation.

Cascolan also ordered for the PNP Custodial Center security team under PLtCol Jiger Noceda to be placed under investigation to determine their liabilities.

Crimelab SOCO and CIDU Misamis Occ team are now conducting investigation.
