We’re at a time when it’s still risky to go outside — staying home or leaving the house even for an hour are things that should still be carefully contemplated on.
Gone are the days when you could dine for hours at a restaurant or go lounge with friends for a staycation at a hotel. But that doesn’t mean you could no longer enjoy your favorite dishes and snacks while in quarantine. You can, but most definitely with proper health and safety protocols.
Returning to tradition
Marco Polo Ortigas’ culinary team, led by executive Chinese chef Ken Leung, continues to celebrate culture with Lung Hin’s new line of Hong Kong Chef’s recommendations and a special selection of culinary gems fit for every palate.
Guests may enjoy chef Ken’s Pan-fried Minced Pork Chive Dumplings topped with dried Sakura Shrimp, Sauteed Squid with
Three-Kinds of Onion, Steamed Garoupa Fillet with Olive and Ginger in Soy Sauce and Chilled Red Bean with Coconut Milk Jelly until 31 October. This limited selection is available for dine-in (still in compliance to health protocols) only.
Chef Ken Leung also presents a seven-course meal which includes the restaurant’s favorites Deep-fried Japanese Oysters in Wasabi Sauce, Crispy Roasted Baby Duck in Black Pepper Sauce and Steamed Live Crab in Chinese Wine and Egg White served with E-Fu Noodle all for a minimum dining group of five adults.
