The local government of Ozamiz in Misamis Occidental has ordered the temporary closure of the Gaisano Capital Mall over alleged violations of Covid-19 health protocols, particularly on social distancing.
Rolando Acaac, the chief of the permit division of the city administrator’s office, announced the action taken against the mall after several warnings went unheeded.
“The mall management has been warned on social distancing but no action has been taken prompting city hall to impose the closure order” he said.
The mall will be allowed to reopen once it submits a written explanation and pledges to comply with the protocols.
