New Balanga tourist attraction seen

BALANGA CITY, Bataan — Local officials from the provincial and local governments led the groundbreaking of the proposed Balanga Beach Forest Park inside the Wetland and Nature Park in the coastal barangay of Tortugas.

The ceremony was attended by Bataan Governor Abet, Garcia, Vice Governor Cris Garcia, Congressman Joet Garcia and Mayor Francis Garcia.

The establishment of the Balanga Beach Forest Park will be another tourist attraction aside from the existing Balanga City Wetland and Nature Park.

The governor stressed that the setting up of the said Beach forest park was in recognition to the dedicated service of the late City administrator Rudy de Mesa who succumbed to the coronavirus disease 2019 early last year.

The establishment of the Balanga Beach Forest Park will be another tourist attraction aside from the existing Balanga City Wetland and Nature Park, a favorite hangout of bird lovers and is widely-known as destination for hundreds of thousands of migratory birds.
