Anna Cusi Delamerced recently earned a medical degree and a master’s degree at one of the top universities in the United States.
Delamerced, daughter of Amador and Victoria Cusi-Delamerced, graduated from the Brown University’s Warren Alpert Medical School with a degree of Medical Doctor and a Master of Science in Population Medicine on 1 May 2021.
Recognized for her compassionate clinical care and dedication to her patients, she was nominated and accepted to the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
During her time in medical school, Delamerced successfully completed a Scholarly Concentration (“Physician as Communicator”) and received the Rosen Grant for the Enhancement of Humanistic Patient Care.
She also earned a Schweitzer Fellowship for community work and was awarded the Bray Medical Humanities Fellowship.
Come June, Delamerced will begin her pediatric residency at Yale.
