Wise proved that he could use heroes other than Granger and there was no better way to do it than playing Aldous seen as an exotic pick in the Mobile Legends professional ranks.
Armed with a massive stack on Soul Steal paired with defensive items and Courage Mask, Wise wreaked havoc and powered Blacklist’s 13-9 victory in 15 minutes in Game 1.
“Redemption ‘to para kay Wise kasi maraming nagsasabi na Granger lang ginagamit niya (This is a redemption for Wise because many people are saying that he can only play Granger),” said Blacklist coach Kristoffer “BON CHAN” Ricaplaza in the post-match interview.
Wise once again played Aldous but Kiel “OHEB” Soriano’s Harith and Edward “EDWARD” Dapadap’s Lapu-Lapu made sure to end the series early.
OHEB and EDWARD combined forces to fuel the 14-4 rout of Omega in just 11 minutes in Game 2 wherein Wise just kept on building up his Soul Steal stack to single handedly kill the Lord.
With the swift sweep, the Playoffs upper bracket-bound Blacklist stretched its streak to three wins and moved further ahead in Group B with 27 points on a 10-1 record.
For its part, Omega dropped to 5-6 but stayed at No. 2 with its 17 points, ahead of Nexplay Esports (15 points).
