ZAMBOANGA CITY — Authorities nabbed three alleged drug suspects in three separate buy-bust operations conducted by operatives from the Police Regional Office (PRO-9) and the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit 9.
The operatives confiscated 159.5 grams of suspected shabu worth P1.092 million.
In a statement, Police Regional Office-9 identified the three suspected drug pushers as Armida Jul-Asri, of Barangay Mampang: Lim Pawaki alias “Lim” of Barangay Kasanyangan and Aberil Ibno Otih of Barangay Bucana, Siocon in Zamboanga del Norte.
Confiscated from Jul-Asri were three sachets of suspected shabu weighing 150 grams worth P1.020 million. She was arrested at her residence in village of Mampang.
Otih, on the other hand, was nabbed after he tried to sell 4.5 grams shabu to a drug enforcement police undercover agent.
Pawaki, meantime, was arrested after he tried to sell 5 grams of suspected shabu to an undercover agent worth P34,000.
The PRO-9 said that the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit 9, in tandem with the local police in this city, will continue to mount an all-out drug buy-bust operation in the region
The arrested suspects are now at the custody of the local police here pending charges.
