TNT ended its six-year title drought after finishing off Magnolia Pambansang Manok, 94-79, to win the PBA Philippine Cup Friday, Oct. 29 at the Don Honorio Ventura State University in Bacolor, Pampanga.

The Tropang Giga delivered the knockout blow on the Hotshots behind another big first half on their way to a 4-1 series victory and a return to the winner’s podium for the first time since the 2015 Commissioner’s Cup.

It also ended San Miguel Corporation’s streak of 11 straight championships as Manny V. Pangilinan finally gets to see one of his three PBA teams lift a trophy.

Mikey Williams topscored with 24 points to cap off a series that earned him the Honda-PBA Press Corps Finals Most Valuable Player honors.
