Two-vehicle collision in Scarborough leaves drivers with serious injuries

Toronto police officers responded to a two-vehicle collision at Danforth Road and Mackinac Crescent.

Toronto police is investigating a two-vehicle collision in Scarborough that left the drivers suffering serious injuries, Tuesday morning.

Officers responded to reports of a crash between two motor vehicles at Danforth Road and Mackinac Crescent, just before 6 a.m.

Police say a 36-year-old man was driving north on Danforth Road, in a black Toyota, and a 28-year-old man was driving a southbound black Mercedes.

Both men were transported to a hospital and are suffering serious or life-threatening injuries, said police in a release.

Police are urging local residents, businesses in the area who may have witnessed the incident to contact them at 416-808-1900.
