80-year-old woman killed by driver in Vaughan parking lot

An elderly woman was killed after being struck by a diriver in a Vaughan parking lot.
An 80-year-old woman was killed by a driver in a Vaughan parking lot just south of Highway 7 on Saturday morning, according to York Regional Police. 

At 10:56 a.m., the woman was struck by the driver of a vehicle, who stayed on the scene after the collision. The woman “tragically succumbed” to her injuries, according to police.

The cause of the collision is unknown. Police remain at the scene investigating. No charges have been laid against the driver.
