Man dies in hospital after early Sunday shooting in York

Toronto police said they have no suspect information after a shooting in York.
A man has died in the hospital after a shooting in York on Sunday morning, police said.

Toronto police said a shooting was reported near Eglinton Avenue West and Oakwood Avenue at about 3:45 a.m. Officers found a man at the scene with a gunshot wound, police said. He was taken to hospital, where he has since died.

Homicide detectives are now investigating the incident. Police said they have no suspect information at this time.
