Man in hospital with life-threatening injuries after downtown stabbing, police say

According to police, the victim was located with multiple stab wounds before he was transported to hospital by medics.
A man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after reports of a stabbing downtown Tuesday night. 

Toronto police said they were called to Yonge and Dundas Streets at approximately 7:23 p.m. for reports of a man who was stabbed.

“(The) victim and suspect fled the area,” police said on Twitter.

According to police, the victim was located with multiple stab wounds before he was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A suspect in connection to the incident has been taken into custody, police said.

“Police are on scene investigating.”
