One person dead after morning shooting in Brampton

Peel police said homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting Sunday morning in Brampton.
One man has died in hospital after a shooting in Brampton on Sunday morning, according to police.

Peel police said that a shooting was reported in a parking lot near Alfred Kuehne Boulevard and Advance Boulevard at about 4:15 a.m. on Sunday.

Police said they took a manthey described as older than 20 to a trauma centre, who was pronounced dead in hospital.

Police said several cars were seen leaving the area.

Homicide officers are now investigating the incident, police said.
