Drug den in Bulacan raided, six suspects nabbed  

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – Authorities dismantled as a makeshift drug den in a raid that resulted in the arrest of six individuals and seizure of some P103,500 worth of shabu in Barangay Minuyan Proper, City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan on Sunday, Aug. 28.

Joint operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bulacan, PDEA Region I, and Bulacan police who carried out the raid, arrested Rogello Estrada, 39, of City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan who was allegedly the drug den maintainer.

The other suspects were Marilou Morales, 48, Ruel Batister, 26, Leo Tondag, 29, Victor Perez, 44, and Roldan Campos, 38, all of City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.

The raiders found five heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing 15 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P103,500.

Operatives started the drug operation at lunch time, but were able to enter the drug den around 5:00 p.m.

Cases for the violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being readied for filing in court.
