SEN. Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go was hailed for his outstanding achievement in public service during the Golden Globe Annual Awards for Business Excellence and Outstanding Filipino Achievers at the Manila Hotel on Friday, December 16.

“We are simple people from the province, from Davao, Mindanao, who were given the opportunity by the Lord to serve you. You are not supposed to thank us, as we are the ones that should thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you all. Rest assured that I will not waste this opportunity, and the trust you have given me,” Go said in his speech.

“Your faith in my abilities has pushed me to be the best version of myself. I am truly grateful for this award. However, with or without it, we will continue to work and serve our people. It is important that we will continue to work with or without the award,” he added.
