A sister of Neil Salvacion, former boyfriend of Rabiya Mateo, has criticized the beauty queen-turned-actress for not telling the truth about her breakup with her brother.
Neil’s sister, who goes by the name of Nhel Skie on Facebook, said that Rabiya never rejected the proposal of Neil.
“In fact, you accepted it and wore the ring before your pageant started internationally,” Nhel said on Facebook on Wednesday, Feb. 22.

“You never rejected my brother’s proposal. In fact, you accepted it and wore the ring before your pageant started internationally. Something happened along the way and you opted to commit a sin during the pageant and you have to own up to that.
“You’re lucky na mas gustong manahimik ng kapatid ko kesa patulan ang mga scripted na sagot mo.”
Earlier, Rabiya opened up the real score on her breakup with Neil in 2021, during her guest appearance on “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda” on GMA Network.
Rabiya told Abunda that Neil proposed to her but she wasn’t ready that time because she was young.
“He proposed to me, Tito Boy, and I was so young that time. I wasn’t ready. I have a lot of dreams pa. I have a lot of dreams for my family, and during that time, he was ready to settle na. Tapos feeling niya, okay na siya sa buhay, pero ako, I want to aspire for more. So doon kami nagkaroon ng conflict,” said Rabiya, who finished in the top 21 of the 69th Miss Universe Competition in Florida in 2021.
Rabiya is in a relationship with fellow Kapuso actor Jeric Gonzales.
