Times head named to Clark firm’s board

THE Manila Times’ Chairman and CEO Dante Francis “Klink” Ang 2nd has been named as acting member of the board of directors of the Clark International Airport Corp. (CIAC), according to the list of new presidential appointees released by the Presidential Communications Office (PCO).

The CIAC is under the Department of Transportation (DoTr).

Ang, the 2022 Best Media Outlet Chairman & CEO awardee of the United Kingdom-based CEO Monthly online magazine, joins Monico Puentevella Jr. and Julius Raboca as acting members of the CIAC board.

Joshua Bingcang was named acting president and chief executive officer.

Also in PCO’s list of newly appointed officials are:

– Noel Padre, Department of Agriculture (DA) assistant secretary

– Vener Dilig, DA director 3

– Remelyn Recoter, DA director 4 (Agriculture Training Institute)

– Antonieta Arceo, DA director 3 (Agriculture Training Institute)

– Ma. Angela Ignacio and Froilan Tampinco, acting board members of the Department of Energy’s Philippine National Oil Company Exploration Corp., representing the energy sector

– Dennis Arvin Chan, Department of Justice chief state counsel

– Liza Alcera, Maria Bernardine Madamba and Eric Dollete, director 3 of the Department of Migrant Workers

– Evelina Guevara-Escudero, member of the Government Service Insurance System’s (GSIS) board of trustees representing the leading organizations or associations of government employees or retirees

– Jose Arnulfo Veloso, GSIS board member representing the banking, finance, investment, and insurance sectors

Luzviminda Padayao, acting member of the National Tobacco Administration’s board of directors representing the tobacco farmers’ sector.
