A photo-op by the members of the Talamak golf club and Raffy Policarpio, Country Head of LBC, the Philippines’ premier cargo-forwarding company, marked the renewal of LBC’s collaboration with Talamak group in furthering its corporate vision for involvement in the community it serves.  Over the years, LBC has promoted many initiatives in the Greater Toronto Area by engaging with its customers and clients in the form of sponsorships and financial support of various sports-development and charitable undertakings.

To carry out its mission, LBC has relied on the leaders and members of Talamak Golf, one of the leading golf associations in the GTA, to plan, organize and execute certain sports activities in the community, such as the annual LBC Fun Badminton tournaments, Taste of Manila (TOM) Foundation golf tournament, participation to the ANCOP charity-walk, among others.  On June 17 this year, the LBC Cup will again be hoisted by the winning team of the GTA Interleague Golf tournament, a sports event where LBC is the main sponsor, to which cause, Talamak members will assist in the distribution of sponsor’s prizes and takeaways.  A contingent of around 144 players from six (6) different golf teams in Ontario are expected to participate in this annual event.

In a symbolic gesture of this collaborative partnership, some of the Talamak members and LBC leadership had a photo-shoot during their golf season-opening game at the Westview Golf and Country Club in Aurora to mark the 15th year of this enduring relationship.  Members proudly donned their red LBC golf caps to symbolize their burning commitment in enhancing the success of LBC’s corporate goals.
