In celebration of Pride and the importance of queer club culture as safe spaces, COS is presenting a limited-edition T-Shirt capsule collection that features unique designs created in collaboration with four iconic clubs worldwide: Horse Meat Disco, House of Yes, Sink The Pink, and Churros con Chocolate.
These club spaces have faced challenges such as transphobia, homophobia, and gentrification, leading to a decline in their numbers even before the pandemic. However, they remain vital to queer communities, providing spaces for connection, celebration, and self-expression.
Each collaborator’s T-shirt design embodies their creativity and individuality. Horse Meat Disco’s design features a bold and colorful DISCO motif, symbolizing the community’s love for disco and dancing. House of Yes, based in New York, presents a powerful heart-shaped design with interconnected lines representing love and the creation of something unique and beautiful.
Sink The Pink, a legendary UK collective known for advocating self-expression, offers a playful Queen of Clubs design that represents their legacy. Churros con Chocolate, Spain’s festival of fun, recreates their iconic poster designs, showcasing dress-up and their flamboyant guests.
The campaign, shot by Brett Lloyd, showcases the faces that form the heart and soul of LGBTQIA+ communities worldwide.
All profits from the sales of this collaboration will be donated to Metro Manila Pride, a volunteer-managed organization dedicated to educating, equipping, and empowering the Filipino LGBTQIA+ community, working towards a future free from discrimination and prejudice.
The COS Pride collection will be available globally at cos.com and the COS Store Manila in SM Aura Premier starting this month.
