At the media conference for the upcoming girls’ love (GL) film I Fell, It’s Fine, lead stars Rhian Ramos and Glaiza de Castro praised the women behind the project and the supportive environment that allowed the cast to work productively and with ease.
“I want to say that I’m proud of everyone on this table. It’s really amazing what a bunch of able, smart, powerful women can make happen,” Rhian told reporters, beaming at her co-stars and producers.
The film, directed by Sigrid Andrea Bernardo, known for her precise vision and clear direction, follows Anne (Glaiza), who is rebuilding her life after a rocky marriage while managing a wellness resort, and Chicks (Rhian), a free-spirited force of nature who shakes things up in the best way.

Glaiza said working with a female director brought a unique perspective.
“We’re just so happy that Sigrid was our director. When the script was given to us, I wanted a female director because I feel more comfortable with her point of view. We’re on the same wavelength,” she explained.
The actress also emphasized the trust and respect that carried the production through its challenges.
“I’m so grateful to be surrounded by women who are driven and passionate. It didn’t happen immediately, but we had to trust and respect each other. Those are very important lessons,” Glaiza added.
Rhian echoed her co-star, saying how the director’s clarity helped her fully immerse herself in her role.
“I learned the importance of being open and adjustable to any situation. Direk Sigrid is very particular, and she knows exactly what she wants, which I appreciate. When we’re ready to do the scene, I’m ready to abandon my thoughts and replace them with hers,” Rhian stated.
“A person’s success depends on how adaptable they are. Life doesn’t always follow your plan. You have to go with the flow,” she added.
While the film tackles serious emotional themes, both actresses recalled a set full of laughter, energy, and memorable moments. From karaoke sequences to romantic encounters, the cast approached each scene with preparation, professionalism, and mutual respect.

‘I Fell, It’s Fine’ explores emotional healing and unexpected connections
“Every day on set, we were laughing non-stop,” Glaiza shared. “Sometimes Direk Sigrid would play upbeat music to hype everyone up. One of the most memorable moments for me with Rhian were our intimate scenes.”
Rhian added, “Truly memorable! Direk Sigrid gave us her blessing to explore the scenes freely, which made it easier to perform naturally.”
Glaiza singled out the film’s karaoke scene as a personal favorite.
“It felt like an all-star moment. Everyone was supposed to act drunk—even though alcohol isn’t allowed on set—so we really had to perform it,” she laughed.
The RaStro tandem, as the pair are popularly known, first worked together in 2009’s Stairway to Heaven and reunited for 2015’s The Rich Man’s Daughter on Kapuso Network. They also appeared in Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre, portraying Pirena and Mitena.
