MANILA, Philippines — Actress Sue Prado passed away on Tuesday, April 14. She was 44 years old.
Her family confirmed the sad news via social media on Wednesday evening, April 15.
On the Facebook account of her sister May Shereen, a post about the actress’s passing can be read but there is no mention of what caused her death.
“Sue brought light in anyone’s path throughout her life. A life lived for others, for the craft she nourished and for those who she loved most.
“Please celebrate her in any way you know how, and honor her memory through kindness.”
She said they will share with the public details regarding the actress’s funeral in the coming days.
Some of the projects that Sue has done are “Barber’s Tales,” “Oro,” “Area,” “Himpapawid,” “Dagsin,” “Thelma,” “Ilustrado” and “Madrasta.”
She was also seen in the Kapamilya series “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” starring Coco Martin.
Apart from that, she was also part of the series “Gameboys,” “Abot Kamay na Pangarap,” “Prinsesa ng City Jail,” and “My Father’s Wife.”
The showbiz industry was shocked by Sue’s sudden death because she had just attended the story conference for the movie “The Flying Red Balloon” last Saturday in Quezon City. — Jan Milo Severo
