Senators Risa Hontiveros and Win Gatchalian leaned into their unexpected online pairing after posing with finger hearts during the opening of the Senate’s second regular session.

Hontiveros shared the photo from the Senate floor on Instagram on Monday, directly addressing supporters who have dubbed their tandem “WinRi.”

“Hi Winners & WinRi Neyshun! Hello mula sa akin & SP Win Gatchalian,” she wrote, tagging Win.

Risa wore a blue-gray terno by Jo Rubio, while Win appeared in an embroidered Barong Tagalog. Their playful pose drew comments from netizens calling them “mom and dad.”

Social media users have been pairing the two senators since June, with “WinRi” gaining traction online.
