For many Filipinos living abroad, seeing artists from home is a chance to reconnect with the music, culture, and stories they grew up with. In 2026, Sparkle GMA Artist Center will once again bring that experience to Filipino communities in Canada and Australia through the expanded Sparkle World Tour.
The tour opens Aug. 15 to 16 at the Taste of Manila festival in Toronto, where Miguel Tanfelix, Jillian Ward, Shuvee Etrata, Rochelle Pangilinan, Paul Salas, Jessica Villarubin, and Beki Velo will perform during the two-day event.
Sparkle will then head to Calgary for Fiesta Filipino 2026 from Sept. 4 to 7 at Eau Claire Plaza. Pangilinan, Salas and Etrata are scheduled to perform at one of Canada’s largest Filipino cultural festivals.
The tour concludes in Australia in November with comedian and actress Ai-Ai delas Alas headlining the Tanging Ina Mo Tour. The tour will stop in Sydney on Nov. 20, Canberra on Nov. 21, Brisbane on Nov. 27, and Melbourne on Nov. 28.
Sparkle said the international tour aims to bring Filipino entertainment closer to overseas Filipinos while promoting local talent and strengthening cultural ties with Filipino communities abroad.
The Sparkle World Tour is presented by Sparkle GMA Artist Center in partnership with Taste of Manila, Fiesta Filipino, StarShine Entertainment Production, and GMA Pinoy TV. — Nickie Wang
