Unveiled at the Uniqlo Manila Global Flagship Store, the collection responds to the growing demand for clothing that combines comfort, functionality and versatility, allowing wearers to move effortlessly from home to work, errands and social gatherings.

According to Kale Capati, senior manager for public relations at Uniqlo Philippines, the latest lineup is built around everyday essentials that can easily be incorporated into any wardrobe.

“Our Lounge & Underwear Collection will be your next set of daily soft essentials. These are pieces you will reach for every day, not only because they are literally soft to the touch, but also because they are very easy to mix and match, even with pieces outside the collection,” Capati said during the launch.

Moving beyond the traditional idea of homewear, the refreshed collection recognizes how innerwear and lounge pieces are increasingly becoming part of everyday fashion. Featuring breathable fabrics, lightweight construction and Uniqlo’s signature materials such as AIRism, soft modal and cotton, the garments are designed to provide comfort while maintaining a polished appearance.

Capati said the collection offers two distinct style directions catering to different personalities.

“The collection has two style directions — or, in your language, two different vibes. If you’re someone like me who is into classic silhouettes and deep neutral tones such as browns, navy blues and other neutrals, this style direction is for you. It’s called Minimalist Classics,” she said.

She added that the neutral-toned pieces are ideal for shoppers looking to build a capsule wardrobe.

Complementing the understated Minimalist Classics line is Effortless Charm, which features brighter colors, playful prints and matching separates that encourage personal styling without sacrificing comfort.

The collection includes camisoles, tank tops, cotton bras, shorts, pajamas, knit tops, cardigans and other coordinated pieces designed for both lounging and everyday wear.

Capati also emphasized the versatility of the garments, which can be styled for different occasions.

“You can decide whether you want to dress them up or dress them down. You can wear them with heels or, if you want to keep things comfortable, with sneakers,” she said.

The new Uniqlo Lounge & Underwear Collection is now available in stores nationwide and through the brand’s online channels.
