TEN-YEAR-OLD Filipina golf prodigy Kamilla Edrianna Guerrero del Mundo capped a remarkable campaign in the United States by capturing the Girls’ 10 title at the 2026 U.S. Kids Golf World Championship in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
The Bacoor, Cavite standout turned in a sensational 17-under-par total of 199 over three rounds, edging American Zizi Townsend by one stroke to secure the coveted crystal trophy and raise the Philippine flag on the global junior golf stage.
The prestigious tournament brought together the world’s leading young golfers aged five to 12 at championship courses around the Pinehurst area.
Del Mundo’s latest triumph completed an extraordinary summer run highlighted by three major victories in the United States.
She earlier ruled the girls’ 9-10 division of the Junior World Golf Championships in San Diego, California, ending the Philippines’ seven-year title drought in the celebrated tournament.
Del Mundo also topped the same age group in the Future Champions Golf International Championship in San Marcos, where she fired identical rounds of 57 for a 114 total against a strong international field.
