Rather than holding a grand affair, Quirino chose to mark her special day in an intimate setting surrounded by close friends, special guests and familiar faces from the beauty pageant community. The gathering was relaxed and cheerful, with guests enjoying dinner, lively conversations and birthday greetings for the celebrant.
A live band provided music throughout the evening, adding to the festive atmosphere. The intimate gathering also gave guests an opportunity to catch up, share stories and enjoy the company of friends in a more personal setting.
The celebration underscored the close friendships that have developed within the Philippine beauty and pageant community, where gatherings often serve as opportunities to reconnect and strengthen long-standing relationships.
Meanwhile, the spotlight shifted to the launch of Mutya ng Pilipinas Cebu 2026, which held its press conference at the 35th floor of the Seda Building in Makati.
The event formally introduced businesswoman and philanthropist Princess Sofia de la Cruz of Cebu, the franchise holder of Mutya ng Pilipinas Cebu 2026, who was also celebrating her birthday.
De la Cruz welcomed members of the media to the Cebu presentation, which offered a preview of the pageant’s plans and highlighted Cebu’s culture and hospitality.
The gathering was also marked by giveaways for members of the press, featuring an assortment of Cebu delicacies.
From Quirino’s intimate birthday dinner to the introduction of Mutya ng Pilipinas Cebu 2026, the occasions brought together beauty personalities, business leaders, friends and members of the media, highlighting the enduring connections within the pageant community and Cebuano pride.
