Running groups strengthen their shared commitment to fitness, connectivity, and community at the 18th Fit & Fun Wellness Buddy Run
Smart Communications Inc. and Robinsons Supermarket teamed up to support Filipino runners and wellness communities during the 18th Fit & Fun Wellness Buddy Run held at Bridgetowne Destination Estate and Parklinks in Pasig City.
The event brought together participants who embraced running as part of their fitness routines while promoting community engagement, healthy lifestyles, and responsible waste management.
The run also partnered with CORA (Communities Organized for Resource Allocation), a nonprofit organization focused on advancing sustainable solutions to issues such as hunger, poverty, inequality, and climate change.
As the event’s sole telecommunications partner, Smart provided connectivity support that allowed participants to stay connected, track their activities, and share their race experiences through its 4G/LTE and 5G networks.
Smart also hosted an interactive booth inspired by its latest PowerAll campaign, “Power Your Next Sidequest,” where participants explored prepaid offers designed around their interests, including Binge, Games, Share, and Grind bundles.
“By powering events like the Fit & Fun Buddy Run with our reliable 4G/LTE and 5G network, we also introduced our New PowerAll offers, which empower Filipinos to pursue their next sidequest—whether that’s entertainment, gaming, sharing moments, or getting things done,” said Christian So, assistant vice president and head of Modern Trade Key Accounts at Smart.
The partnership combined Robinsons Supermarket’s community platforms with Smart’s connectivity solutions, creating an experience that linked wellness, technology, and shared activities.
As running communities continue to expand, Smart and Robinsons Supermarket aim to support more experiences that encourage active lifestyles and stronger connections among Filipinos.
