Halle Berry faces restraining order request from ex-husband Olivier Martinez

Halle Berry’s ex-husband, actor Olivier Martinez, has filed a request for a temporary restraining order against the actress, alleging that she physically abused their 12-year-old son, Maceo.

According to reports, Martinez accused Berry of physically hurting their son during an alleged incident. In his filing, he claimed Berry “physically abused our son Maceo by jumping on him” and putting her hands around his neck.

Martinez is seeking court intervention as the custody dispute between the former couple continues.

Berry’s attorney, Marina Beck, has strongly rejected the allegations.

In a statement reported by TMZ, Beck described Martinez’s filing as “entirely meritless and deliberately misleading,” adding that the characterization of the allegations would be an understatement.

The legal dispute is the latest development in the former couple’s long-running custody issues involving their son.

Berry and Martinez were married from 2013 to 2016. They share Maceo, who was born in 2013.

The actress has not been publicly accused of wrongdoing in a criminal case in connection with the allegations, and the claims made in Martinez’s filing have not been established in court.
