Cray rules 400-meter hurdles for 6th straight SEAG gold

PHNOM PENH, Cambodia: Eric Cray ruled the men’s 400-meter hurdles to claim his sixth straight gold medal in the event at the Southeast Asian Games to give the Philippines its first gold of the day on Thursday, May 11 at the Morodok Techo Stadium.

Cray, 34, clocked 50.03 seconds to extend his Southeast Asian reign to 10 years starting at the Myanmar Games in 2013.

Overall, Cray now has a total of eight gold medals in the SEA Games.
