President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has invited students to visit the two new museums in Malacañang that feature all the country’s presidents, saying “it is very educational.”

Speaking at the launch of the Bahay Ugnayan Museum and Teus Mansion on Tuesday, May 30, Marcos encouraged the public to come and visit the two presidential museums.
“It is now open to the public. I invite everyone to come, puntahan ninyo, lalo na yung mga estudyante na nais makita ang lahat ng pangulo ng ating republika (visit it, especially the students who want to see all the presidents of our republic),” Marcos said in his speech.
“Ngayon ay (Now, it is) officially open na that is why I am inviting everyone to come, while you are in this part of the city, to come and visit it. I think it’s very educational definitely. It’s free by the way, we don’t charge an entrance fee),” Marcos added.
Under the Malacañang Heritage Tours, Bahay Ugnayan Museum and Teus Mansion will be offering free guided tours to visitors to explore the lives and legacies of the country’s leaders.
The Bahay Ugnayan Museum features President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s road to the presidency, showcasing the defining moments of his tenure and campaign materials that paved the path to his presidency.
The Teus Mansion, on the other hand, showcases the memorabilia of the country’s chief executives. Presidential attire, footwear, flags, and exquisitely sculpted busts are displayed inside the museum, paying homage to the revered leaders. It also dedicates a corner to the portraits of the First Ladies.
The President said the Goldenberg Mansion that houses the museums is still in the process of bringing it back to its old glory “but you can already see what a beautiful place it is.”
Both museums are open starting June 1. Guided tours will be available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for free but visitors need to make a reservation first, Malacañang said.
In addition to the Malacañang Heritage Tours, the Goldenberg Series was also launched. It will serve as a platform to raise awareness and celebrate the diverse cultural heritage of the Philippines through a variety of captivating events. — Betheena Unite
