Filipina actress Dolly De Leon invited to join academy behind Oscars

FILIPINA actress Dolly De Leon was invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Reports out of Hollywood said the “Triangle of Sadness” star has joined the nearly 400 artists and executives in the Academy’s official list.

De Leon also confirmed this development by tweeting, “Intense!” in reply to a Los Angeles-based Filipino Hollywood journalist who congratulated her.

Joining her is Ke Huy Quan, who recently won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for the Oscar-winning movie “Everything Everywhere All at Once.” His co-star, Stephanie Hsu, also appears on the list.
