Majority of Filipinos satisfied with Marcos administration – OCTA

ABOUT seven out of 10 Filipinos are satisfied with the performance of the administration of Ferdinand Marcos Jr., according to a survey commissioned by OCTA Research.

In its Tugon ng Masa first quarter survey from March 24-28, 72 percent said they were satisfied, while eight percent were dissatisfied with the performance of Marcos.

The 72 percent was a “nominal decrease” from the previous OCTA survey last October, where the administration got a 76 percent satisfaction rating.

Marcos got the highest rating at 83 percent in the Visayas, followed by Balanced Luzon at 77 percent, and Mindanao at 67 percent.

The National Capital Region (NCR) reported the lowest satisfaction rating at 51 percent.

NCR is also the region with the highest percentage of those who said that they were ambivalent with the performance of the current administration at 35 percent.

The survey had 1,200 respondents with a margin of error of plus or minus three percent across the country and plus or minus 6 percent in NCR, Balanced Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. — Red Mendoza
