Lovi Poe bares ‘years-long’ engagement to British boyfriend

CALL her the queen of low-key relationships — Lovi Poe just announced her engagement to British boyfriend Monty Blencowe, years after the proposal.

“A couple of years ago, there were two coffees, one sunrise, and a ring,” Poe wrote on her Instagram account @lovipoe.

She accompanied her post with a video showcasing the seaside sunrise, coffee mugs and her stunning engagement ring.

“We’ve shared and celebrated this moment quietly with our family and closest friends, so we’re now more than happy to share this sweet #lifeupdate with you,” Poe said.

Over on her Instagram Stories, the “Batang Quiapo” lead actress also shared a video of two women sharing drinks in celebration. She wrote, “Both our mums celebrating with us.”

Another Stories entry was a video of a merry group of friends in an apparent engagement celebration.

The 34-year-old actress reportedly met the Los Angeles-based producer in early 2019. A few months after, Poe seemingly made the relationship Instagram-official with a photo together attending the Royal Ascot, dubbed as “Britain’s most valuable race meeting,” where royal family members and celebrities are also spotted.

Since then, they have maintained a low-key long-distance relationship.

Not much is known about Blencowe yet, except that he has produced several Hollywood action flicks such as the Bruce Willis-John Cusack movie “The Prince” (2014) and Sylvester Stallone-Dave Bautista film “Escape Plan 2: Hades” (2018).

Poe is the daughter of the late Fernando Poe, Jr. with former actress Rowena Moran.
