Sze shared his experience with Walker on his Instagram page @crazytothemaxph on Saturday. Both were practicing on the ice in Sydney, Australia.

Walker, the first Australian player in the NHL, was doing his off-season training.

“Training with this guy is awesome!” Sze wrote. “Thank you Nathan Walker, the first Aussie ice hockey player to play for the St. Louis Blues of NHL. Salute!”

After Sze shared the photo on his Instagram stories, Walker reposted it on his Instagram stories, as well.

The 18-year-old Sze was a member of the Philippine national ice hockey team that won gold at the 2023 IIHF World Championships Division 4 in Mongolia last March, where he had 6 goals and 5 assists for 11 points.

Walker played 56 regular season NHL games for the Blues last season and tallied two goals and 8 assists for 10 points.
