Mississauga, ON – The vibrant heart of Cooksville is set to come alive once again with the “Taste of Cooksville Street Festival” on Dundas Street between Hurontario and Camilla. Join us for a day of community, culture, and culinary adventures on September 16, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Event Highlights:

  • Grand Opening: The festival will kick off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:00 AM, featuring Mississauga’s esteemed Mayor Bonnie Crombie, Ward 7 Councillor Dipika Damerla, and Cooksville BIA Chair of the Board Tony Nguyen. This official ceremony will mark the beginning of a day filled with excitement and flavor.
  • Culinary Delights: Discover a mouthwatering array of food from 30+ local restaurants, food trucks, and artisans. Taste the diverse flavors that make Cooksville a culinary gem.
  • Live Entertainment: Enjoy live music throughout the day. Experience the rich tapestry of our artistic community, including live performances by the Five and Tens Band, Cat Bernardi, DJ Fawn Big Canoe, and more.
  • Kids Zone: Bring the whole family! Our dedicated Kids Zone offers fun activities and games for children of all ages including a Bounce Castle, Carnival Games, free Mini-Putt art instruction by Visual Arts Mississauga, and face painting provided by Anderson College.
