The 13th Likhang Habi Market Fair, organized by the HABI: Philippine Textile Council -a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of endemic threads, textiles, and fabrics, is back for another exciting year.
With the theme “World of Woven Wonders,” this highly anticipated event brings together more than 70 artisans, craftsmen and designers for a three-day event – October 13 ,14 and 15 at the Glorietta Activity Center, Glorietta Mall in Makati City.
Vendors will be showcasing handcrafted products ranging from exquisite textiles, fashionable shoes made from sustainable materials, limited edition bags, fashion accessories, contemporary home decor, and stunning jewelry pieces. This diverse array of products reflects the incredible craftsmanship and creativity that defines Philippine culture.
One of the highlights of this year’s Habi Fair is the exhibit of submitted entries to the Lourdes Montinola Piña Weaving and the Eloisa Hizon Gomez Abaca competitions. These competitions showcase the exceptional skills of local artisans and weavers who work with piña and abaca fabrics. The winning entries for both competitions will be announced on October 13 and 14, respectively.
